About

Global climate and biodiversity crises call for multidisciplinary conservation that reflects the full diversity of available knowledge, creativity, perspective and experience.

The Conservation Leadership Immersion Experience (CLIME) aims to strengthen and diversify conservation leadership by supporting undergraduates to transition successfully to high-impact conservation graduate training and careers through funded training, internships, and sustained mentoring.

Our program builds on nearly a decade of lessons and experience of the UCSC Doris Duke Conservation Scholars Program, growing a vibrant community of 100+ young emerging leaders in conservation.
